The Boy Turned 5!!!

The other day, my "baby" big boy turned 5!!!!  So hard to believe it has been 5 years since we became parents to the most adorable little creature who stole our hearts right away.  What a joy he has been.  He is such a smart, creative, playful, funny, kind, gentle little guy.  He loves to play with his two little brothers, at times he would rather not have the middle one follow him around as much, but they all get along very well.
This year, we were able to celebrate his big day with family.  He LOVED that!!!!  The only downside to the whole day was that Daddy wasn't with us.  He did receive a birthday message that made his day. When I played it for him, he smiled his sheepish smile and said, "Daddy."  These boys love him and miss him so much.  (two weeks down!!!)  We were also able to Face Time, which always help!

Happy New Year

Well, we are into the year 2013!!! Crazy!!!! What a great year 2012 was. We started off the year still a little shocked at finding out we were having our third baby, the husband spent the first half of the year training for a new job, moved on the hottest weekend/month known to man, had a baby 13 days after moving, hubby started a new job, our middle son's skin completely clearing up(rejoice!!), and so much more. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the busyness of everyday life, but when I, as I'm sure you do too, reflect on the year, we are reminded of how lucky and great full we are for every moment. These next few months will be bumpy in our household, but they will be an adventure filled with many memories I'm sure.
As each year turns, many of us make our resolutions. I usually don't do much. Of course there is the eat better, exercise more, etc, but this year i am setting some goals...get my Etsy shop going again and get back into blogging. We shall see how well this goes with the hubby away and me at home with all three boys :/!

New Baby

We have a new baby in the family!!! Born on Sunday evening, he came in the smallest of my 3 boys. We are all doing well. I love to watch the older two boys play with him. They love him so much!!! We all do!!!

Day 24 Photo Challenge

Today's posts on a color scheme. I chose to take a photo of my garage. We did most of the packing, except breakables, and moved the boxes to the garage once they were full. It is very full since we leave on Saturday. Ahhh!!!!

Day 23

Today's post was on something that reminds you of childhood. I chose to use a picture of my boys playing in the water. I remember many summer days growing up laying in the sprinkler trying to stay cool. Today was actually a beautiful day and almost a little chilly for water play. The boys had fun though. The Baby did not want to get sprayed so once he found his little puddle he was good.

Day 22

Today was about the people we love. I am so lucky to have such a loving and fun family. For my photo, I chose my boys. This picture was taken at Easter. In less than a month we will be adding another boy.

Day 21 Photo Challenge

For today's challenge, we are to take a photo of the sunrise or sunset. I was up at sunrise with The Baby, who has not been feeling well today, but I forgot. So I took one of the start of our sunset, mainly because I was thinking about it and knew I would forget if I waited for a colorful shot.

Day 20

Today's challenge is of something we like. Since it's Saturday, we went to the Farmer's Market for once last time here in Ohio. Came home and made Bruschetta, sliced a cucumber, and some mozzarella. A delicious, fresh lunch.

Day 19 Photo Challenge

Today's post is all about landscapes. I took a picture of my beautiful Hydrangea bush.

Day 16-18 Photo Challenge

So, I may have mentioned before that I do not own a fancy camera. The camera I do have us very basic and since getting the iPhone in December, I use that mainly. The last few days have been to use light, day 16 was light trail and 17 was use of light as well. These I could not seem to capture one my phone :(. However, I was able to join in today's, which was a show of emotions. I took this photo of The Baby about a week ago. If he is waken up from his nap by anything, he cries for about an hour not wanting a thing!!!! It is rather frustrating and funny. You hand him his paci, he throws it then reaches for it all the while getting more and more angry. The last time he did this, I snapped a picture and was able to "show emotion" for today's challenge.

Day 14 and 15 Photo Challenge

Yesterday's challenge was to focus on the eyes. I chose a picture of The Baby I took back in November. He was peeking around his stroller to see my mother. For day 15, we were to do what we wanted. My friends husband and mine are gone this week for work so we are spending about everyday together. Today, the boys were jumping beans!!

Today's post was on a picture we edited. I chose one I took of The Boy a few nights ago. I went to check on him and he was so precious, sound asleep. He is growing so fast!

Day 12 Photo Challenge

Today was a little, ok, FAR from my knowledge of photography. We were to take a bokeh photo. I do not have a fancy camera or even really know what type that is except that the background is blurry with a focus point. I cheated and downloaded an app to help me out :/.

Day 6 Photo Challenge

I am far from being a photographer so I tried my best to get our shot for today, a low angle shot. We just got back from a local farmers market with loads of yummy fruits and veggies. Today I'm making a fresh Strawberry Rhubarb pie. I cannot wait for dinner tonight!!! Here is my attempt at a low angle shot of my strawberries and rhubarb.

Day 5 Photo Challenge

Today was an interesting challenge. We got to take a photo of whatever we wanted. It was fun to see all the different things we were up to today, what each of us thought would be interesting to post. For me, it was the delivery of our boxes to start packing. The adventure is about to begin!!

Today's challenge was to takes high angle photo. I'm sure some people will have great pictures...mine is taken with my phone as most of my pictures are. This is of the boys hard at work with their tools. The Baby LOVES his Handy Manny tools that sing and bounce.

Today's challenge was to be of a place you love to be. Mine was with my boys. They may drive me crazy at times, but they bring so much joy, laughter , and love to my life. I live them all and love being with them.

Today's challenge was to take a picture of something you wore today. Since I am not about to take a picture of my big belly to show my outfit, I took one of a necklace my brother sent to me when he lived in Japan.

Last Day of School

Yesterday was The Boys last day of Pre K...for this year.  He will go again next year since he is only 4.  A friend of mine suggested dressing him in the same outfit he wore for the first day of school.  She did it with her son and it was so fun to see how different the clothes fit, how small they were.  So, I did!!
